About Bobcat Pause
Bobcat Pause is an annual event proudly hosted by Student Foundation and the Department of Student Involvement. The ceremony honors students, faculty, staff, and retired faculty and staff who have passed away during the preceding year. With this event, Student Foundation hopes to instill the importance of remembrance and community, and hopes to offer comfort to those who mourn the deceased. It is our compassion and caring for each other that reflect the excellence of our university and what it truly means to be a Bobcat.
The ceremony includes remarks by the university president, words of comfort and a roll call of those being remembered. The university community, and friends and family of the deceased are invited to join in honoring of fallen Bobcats. Attendees are encouraged to bring photos or flowers to display in honor of their loved ones.
Parking will be in the LBJ Student Center Garage. Please bring your ticket into the event so that we can validate your parking pass!
Please send all photos to firstname.lastname@example.org or submit them using our RSVP link.
The RSVP link will close on Wednesday, April 6 at noon.
